Not sure if Steeves makes up the value between the 3rd and a 2nd as I don't know enough about him really. Biggest knock seems to be on his skating so it's questionable as to how good a fit he'd be with the Avs. Could argue that's a similar return to Hronek though so the Avs would have to consider it.
