Description

Unless you can signs him for a little over 2m he ain’t staying. Rangers are just in too much cap hell. Laf and Miller both signs 3 year deals as Panarin and Trouba’s comtracts will be up by 2026. Then you can spend alot more on them. Kakko signs a 2 year 3.5m deal here so you can sign him again in 2026 with all the added cap space. Signing Igor next year when he’s on the final year of his deal will be rough tho.

The thought process is that Panarin and Kane will have contracts that expire the same year so they could leave together if they so want to.

I'm not sure he signs for 3 years, but I could definitely see Kaner taking a 1 or 2 year deal in the $2m to $2.5m range. It's most likely either the Rangers or Buffalo

Hate to say it as he is one of the best American players of all-time but Kane will most likely need to sign a 1 year "prove it" deal especially since hip surgery is a good possibility - thinking a 1 year deal b/t 1 & 1.5mil max.
Jones deal is too low - minimum salary needs to be at least 975K (qualifying offer has to be at least a 5% raise and the salary can't exceed 1mil a year)
