Description

Boy, the Canes have a lot of cap space to work with this off season. They could add even more to this already stacked group! I realize the season after they have a lot of bigger names to re-sign so not all these moves are realistic but it's fun to throw together a team like this every once in a while!

Very unappealing offer imo. Ryan Suzuki is not an impressive prospect, and Teravainen is a pending UFA coming off an extremely mid season. The 1st is likely 29th-32nd. Ottawa turns a quality asset into a whole lot of nothing so fast in this deal.

I made the suggestion of Kotkaniemi and the 1st. I think Ottawa definitely needs to prioritize getting someone who can handle that 2LW role at a cheaper price point. The main reason to move Cat is to afford a goalie upgrade.

A 2 way forward that can get 45-50pts for around 5 mill and a pick around 20. That would be the ideal return.

Jarvis+ 2023 first, Cat is a clear major upgrade on Jarvis.
