How are the Canucks bottom for forwards?

I doubt Lindholm is even with the Flames in 14 months, let alone 3-5 years.

And Yamamoto is not the Oilers first choice for third wheel on the nuclear line, that would be Hyman or Kane.

If this is truly in 3-5 years, Vegas is too high (Mark Stone won't be as effective, if he's even healthy enough to keep playing) and Chandler Stephenson isn't anything special. In my biased opinion the Kings should be higher, above at least the Ducks and Canucks. That's a Byfield at 23-25 and Kempe/Fiala barely 30.

Sharks and Ducks change quickly if they get Bedard. Same with Vancouver, even if the likelihood isn't as high.

Barabanov is nowhere near our top line in 3-5 years, maybe not even Hertl. Kind of a pointless positing since you're not realistically projecting.

A lot of the players here will be mid thirties in 5 years. The projections for this post are nonexistent.

Yeah, this was much more "What's the better first line today?" than "3-5 years top line".
