Yes, Hell froze over! Not a playoff team yet, but I expect this team to play important games into early April. Still think they need 1 more year.

If Bedard starts off as a C (which is where I'd play him), he's either on the 2nd line with Copp (with Perron as his trigger man), or on the 3rd line (the only reason why you'd do that is to avoid the tough D matchups), which I'd play him with Berg and Fabbri. The 3rd line would lack grit, but would be a pretty speedy line that you could shelter early. If Bedard starts on the W, he's LW1 next to Larkin, and they can can run track meets. I think if he's LW1, then Raymond might move down to RW2 (with Perron on RW1).

Severson signs to give DET the R/L balance. No readily available RHD in the system. DET drafts Lukas Dragicevic at 18. Johansson starts in the NHL due to Edvinsson's injury, taking up LHD3 spot.

Expect Kasper to start as C3 or C4. Expect the line blender on the bottom 2 lines. Considered Mazur for the LW4 role, but he really needs to be in the middle 6, so he starts in GR. Soderblom after losing most of the season starts in GR too.
