Description
This is being typed quickly and angerly so mind the grammar etc.

Assuming for once they make a move, they cant move JT, Marner imo is last to go, and tbh if im picking one out the bunch, im saying willy but who knows they prob just say its dubas fault again and fire him and keefe and then keep the core and say "this years different" again.

I'm sick of it as a fan, Dubas has done everything he possibly could to put together a team under this hard cap with the likes of marner and Matthews having to get their fat cut, but dubas still finds a way to make a super team year and year again, just to have these guys under perform year and year again. Our best player tonight was ****ing DAVID KAMPF. its embarrassing.

It sucks being a leaf's fan man.

I said before the series especially after seeing all those losers chanting "WE WANT FLORIDA" that if they take this team lightly they are gonna have a rude awakening, and here we are. I shouldn't be surprised, but I somehow am.

Game 4 will show exactly how much this core 4 wants to be in Toronto, if they decide to show up and win 4 straight, ill eat my words, but regardless when you get paid this type of money, you better play up to it, especially in a market such as Toronto.

Prob not, being honest if Matthews is leaving I dont think anyone is paying for him, but rather just having the bid off in free agency.

Honestly can't blame Dubas this year, he had a great trade deadline, maybe he should've sent a mid round pick to the Sharks for an Optimus Reim reunion though?.. 😆

Why does Arizona give so much for one year of Matthews?
No, I think Dubas is a problem. Trading away so many prospects and picks with so little to show for idk. Leafs have few NHL prospects and few good picks in the next three years. He's been a disaster why any measure. Poor cap management had resulted in Leafs not have cap to get better players. Just to the last two years. Mrzarek and Murray are example.

Don't know how any one can saw the Leafs had great deadline.....Trading two first, two seconds, a third and fourth for a upcoming UFA ROR, two full years of McCabe, and year and half bottom ender Lafferty.

Teams usually need good players ELC playing above the cap to make the cap work. Leafs don't have prospects or picks.
Besides the top first rounders.... Reilly, Nylander, Matthews,Marner, Liljegren, the Leafs had not one of their draft picks on their roster......well the late arriving Knies is another.

As a Caps fan I'd probably do this but I don't think Caps would. They love Wilson, as they should, he's great, but I would capitalize on his value.

No chance the Capitals trade any 1st for the foreseeable future and they’re certainly not adding a 1st to Wilson for William Nylander.
