Doubt Miller is available, but for Laf, I doubt picks do much for them.

I think it may be more fitting for guys like Perron, Kubalik...with max retention.

Both Miller and Laffy get signed once the season is over, no chance Drury trades either and there will be no offersheets, that's just pipedreams of desperate fans.

Kane has been horrible for the Rangers and ruins the 1st PP unit since it moves Mika to the bumper spot, which is just stupidity on Gallants part. Wish they never traded for him.

Miller is a defensive liability. Maybe because he is paired with Trouba, who knows. I'm thinking if Miller is offer sheet-ed more i don't see it being that huge of a loss compared to losing laff. If he can only provide offensive ability then get the losses and bring Jones up from Hartford and invest in his development (that the Rangers are known for doing well.) Free'd cap + possible picks, im good with that.

If this was Chel i would let Miller sign somewhere else via an off sheet and then sign laffy to a moveable but long contract, like a 2.5X6. If he pans out into the Super Star he was in the Q, then its a steal and you push the price tag down the road. If he stays where he is at he has a moveable contract that drury could sweet with words like "Ceiling, Potential, Tage Thompson etc."
