I'd rather try to sign Hill or Varly in UFA or see if Vladar is available in trade. His salary jumps to over 2 mil next season and Wolfe might be NHL ready.

Three things robertson hasn;t been able to do:

Stay Healthy
Score
Play Defense

In 3 full professional seasons and a playoffs, he has 7 pts in 31 games on a top offensive team, is small, cant stay healthy, and is not a defensive player.

Nick Robertson is the one player who has worst luck staying healthy than Robbi Fabbri does.

I have to disagree on that one. He was 18 years old when he played in the playoffs I dont often see players that young doing very well in the playoffs or playing at all. he back checks and plays both sides of the puck, he is only 21 now and has been great at every other level and was on pace this year for 20-30 pts at only 10 min a game. he will get better but he might not be as good as everyone thought he would be.

Maybe, but this season he was often a healthy scratch, plainly looked average at best when he played and it was by far his worst showing with the leafs of the past 3 seasons. Add in the various and fairly serious issues he has racked up in the past 5-6 yrs, and theres alot of risk that he'll ever stay healthy or deliver as a small offensive player. The idea that he will get better is probably inaccurate. Not saying he couldn;t become good or EVER stay healthy, but probably not in TOR. And he is still small and is not a defensive player by any stretch.
