What’s podkolzins value?

Hard to say. I think the Canucks would be loathed to trade him. It's the kind of player teams hate to trade and would ask way to much for. He's got so much potential and was a highish pick, but obviously hasn't put it all together.

Realistic value is late 1st very early 2nd probably. I doubt they'd trade him for less than a top 20 pick, although maybe a little later given the strength of the draft. Or equivalent valued prospect obviously, especially if position of need like C or D.

I believe Holl will get MINIMUM 4.5m a year cap on his UFA contract. That's my prediction for him. I doubt 2.5m cuts it.

I think he should get paid closer to that, but it just doesn't sound like he's highly valued around the league when I look at the coverage around him. So I wouldn't be surprised if he got signed for as low as this or as high as yours, this is also assuming an only 1m cap increase.

I agree with this. On top of that he is the top U23 asset the Canucks have, so it'd be significant for the Canucks to move him. I think it only makes sense for a young defenseman.

Add a 2nd going to Detroit and no 4th going to Vancouver or no 4th going to Vancouver and 50% retention.
