I'm not sold on Murray and Holl being Game 1 starts, they've had some really good flashes, but Samsonov has been objectively better than Murray regardless of injuries and any stats. As for Holl, I don't know, man. He's a confusing player. He's a solid RHD, but I feel like in weighing the options I'd instinctively go with the pairings seen below, or something along the lines of it (pun intended). As we all know, Kerfoot is a bottom-six player, so naturally, that's where he would go. Bunting-Matthews-Nylander has been effective, and we've already seen how spectacular Tavares-O'Reilly-Marner is. I've seen other takes out there saying that Knies should start on the third line and work his way up, and frankly I agree with that. I imagine that he'd probably flourish with Jarnkrok on the opposite wing given Jarnkrok's speed. Eventually, I would probably think about switching Knies with Bunting, and Nylander with Marner, simply because Knies-Matthews-Marner would be a force to be reckoned with. That's just how I see things, but I believe Keefe is more likely to whip out his favourite kitchen appliance, the Magic Bullet, on his roster.
