As a Pens fan, play Kapanen top six, that’s where he is best with his skills. Also, bring back Reaves because you know it will be fun to have him back and gonna need someone when Bennington loses it again.

Not a lot of skill on that 3rd line for Neighbours to flourish

Targets are probably right. But I’d imagine lines would be more along the lines of

Vrana - Thomas - Kyrou
Neighbors - Buch - Kapanen
Saad - Schenn Blais
Torpo - Acciari - Sunny

I think that the FO likes Buch at center.

Personally though I’d rather have Scandella on the roster as opposed to Perunovich unless Krug is moved. Having both would be disastrous.

Fine with those lines as well. As scary (defensively) as it is, Perunovich has to be an NHL player if healthy. If that means including him in a package to offload someone, so be it.

Why? He still is exempt from waivers next season i'm pretty sure. Skill and development wise yeah i can see, but he hasn't necessarily been healthy enough to warrant taking a hit like that for the sake of development.

He's 24, will be 25 beginning of next season. Skill and development needs to happen at some point. Pretty sure he only has 1-2 more seasons of RFA/arb control before he can be a UFA so we need to test him in the NHL next year. Was hoping he'd get a few games in right now and we could rotated sitting Krug/Scandella in these meaningless games. But as I said, if we can't move Krug then we can trade Perunovich in a package for someone/picks.
