Goodrow's contract will not look bad once the cap rises again. Goodrow is a glue guy and a guy you get as a team is getting ready to make the playoffs.
He won't need to be moved with a pick (let alone a first) and will return a mid round pick.

Teams like buffalo/ottawa/anahiem will want goodrow to transition them into that playoff mentality.
