Depends what you need. Kasper and Raymond had the same P/gp, but Kasper's defensive responsibilities are much greater than Raymond's.
He is extremely underrated by most (and overrated by me)

Unless it's for Bedard or Michkov, I don't think any deal for a prospect in this draft makes much sense considering how good he's been.

I'm not opposed to a trade like this on the grounds that they are supposed to be basically the same player. Power forward winger who can get greasy goals, its just a change of pace for both of them to try and reignite their talents. Most/all the deals I've seen in the past year for Comtois are for a draft pick or a LD or a Center that we don't need or doesn't help us for a few years, this one doesn't deplete us at wing.

I will note that as a one year deal it will need to be ~2.4 million for Max's QO, otherwise he is a UFA and can go anywhere.

1. This trade assumes it's probably #5 (hence Will Smith), meaning that it's not Bedard, Michkov, or Fantilli
2. The only players worth that are Bedard or Michkov. The difference between Kasper and Fantilli is much more lateral than you'd think.
