As good as Hart CAN be, I'm not trading a first for an average goalie.

I'd be totally shocked if Carter Hart returns a 1st round pick.

He has shown plenty of times that when the flyers aren't playing atrocious he is a very solid and reliable backbone for the team.

When we went to the playoffs and played against Montreal. It was a major goalie battle and he won it against Price and Hart was also the only reason we made it to game 7 against the Islanders. Flyers completely disappeared against the Islanders that series.

With a good team in front of him Hart's confidence will be back up and would be a Top 7 goalie in the league without a doubt

Philly will be hard pressed to get a first for Hart, G are not worth that much in todays NHL, hell a 2 time cup winning matt Murray did not get PIT a first. Not saying it is impossible phily can get a first, just saying it is highly unlikely and if they do, it will not be a top 20 pick.

Murray was also moved on the down turn of his career when Jarry was taking over as the starter.
