I feel the Wild can make it work by VAN only retaining $1.65 and signing a ~$2M vet dman or resigning Freddy G $1-1.5 and signing a $1M vet Dman.

I still feel like having Ek carrying line 3 makes the team the strongest, but I undestand the Ek/Boldy pairing. Would be nice to see Rossi slide in that spot and spell Boldy/Boeser.

I think the motivation your looking for is exactly what you typed. 62pt pace player. A guy the Wild can have for 2 years on a good enough contract that it wouldn't hinder the team in their pursuit to build a complete squad. Boeser can score goals, and it's exactly what the Wild need. Last 13 games I believe they are dead last in goals scored, but are like 9-1-3 because they are play phenomenal defense.

1st plus Addison? What's Addison's value? Greenway fetched a 2nd and 5th but was that just a fleece job or is that just the way this new trade market is?
