leafs play a run and gun trade chances kind of game , with average or below goaltending and a defence that is average at best on paper , they are benefiting for a few players having a good year . at any time they can produce a 7-6 game . the bruins play a calm structured methodical system with a very strong d and great goal tending . the bruins are built from the net out and have been for several years . the leafs are built front heavy . case in point the bruins just won 4 straight and to be quite honest they didn't deserve to win any of them. the bruins 4,5,6,7 d men would be top pairing on the leafs . they're not built the same and to think that we would pay to take on 2 mediocre players that wouldn't play in bostons lineup all while giving a division rival cap relief is ludacris

Bro you literally do not watch the leafs… they don’t play run and gun haven’t since 2018..Matthews is having a down year, Rielly down year, leafs are better defensively ( 4th in GA) than they are offensively this year ( 7th GF ). Again I agree Boston is the better team… I also know this is a stupid trade and the leafs would never do it. you’re just wrong about the leafs and know nothing about hockey.
