Feel like a Farabee/Wahlstrom starting point would be the ask

Honestly I really don't know what to tell you. It's honestly pretty shocking to me that he stuff with his agent even came out. I think he's happy here and things will get better but it's pretty hard to put a value onto a guy like him considering the situation. Think it would start with a 1st and a good young player/prospect but from there I'm not sure where it would go.

if he really struggles for the next 2 years the contract buyout isnt bad at all since he will be under 25 still

Wahlstrom comes with a LOT less risk bc of the contract.

Idk you guys really think a dude with a career .5 ppg (41 point pace) who this year is on pace for just under 35 points and has a sizeable contract is worth a 1st plus? I get he’s only 23 but his “big year” (which was 38 in 55 or a 56 point pace) was 3 years ago. I could have completely misjudged his market but this seems like a hefty return for a big performance question mark with significant risk.

Yeah but that's gonna prob be the ask because they won't sell someone under control for pennies on the dollar.

Schmaltz is nice but the acquisition cost is a lot higher. For a team that doesn’t have many assets taking risks to try and get good value in a trade is imo the way forward. Schmaltz and goat will cost a pretty penny and then there won’t be any more assets left to upgrade with

Something around that is always gonna be the price for him. They really like this guy. The Flyers' price for him might even be more than that but like I said it's really hard to judge with him
