He's forsure gone before the draft imo. He can focus the rest of the season on continuing to prove that he's back/can stay healthy and win the Norris. If so, he should have more choices (that want him) in the offseason. Unless Edmonton or someone gets really desperate the next few days.

It's funny when both Karlsson and Grier both say a trade is unlikely before the TDL, and they both say he is likely gone during the offseason. For all Grier's flaws at least he's on the same page with his players. 3 days to get a Karlsson deal done is impossible when it took Grier like 10 days to get the Meier trade done The retention is too complicated and contested
