If Florida trades Duclair it'll be to gain cap space. Kylington makes just 500k less so that wouldn't save them much cap space unless they put Kylington on LTIR for the rest of the season. I'm not sold on Duclair being a good pickup for the Flames anyhow. I might take a flyer on him for Kylington + Mackey + Phillips but if it takes more than that I'd pass.

Yeah I don’t see Kylington returning this season and FLA still needs an LD, so they might be willing to buy a rental this year hoping Kylington is ready to go next season.

Mackey goes as a player they can try out and Phillips or Schwindt go as compensation for getting to use Duclair for the rest of this season. I mean he does have the most recent success with Huberdeau. Duclair played with Huby far more than Reinhart last season
