Kane's starting point is a '23 first and then a forward prospect. Kravatsov as the prospect with the Dallas pick which currently looks like mid 20's would be in the ball park of what the Hawks will want. Zachary Jones as a LHD does nothing for the Hawks with the amount of draft capital they have used on D the last 2 or 3 drafts.

For any deal to be even remotely possible for the Rangers to add Kane, the Hawks are retaining 50% and then the Rangers are sending a 4th/5th to a third party to each another half. Kane at 2.65 replacing a league minimum guy gets in the neighborrhood of maybe the math works.
