As an Oiler fan I do that NYI deal all day. I'm just unsure if you'll find a NYI fan who would. Maybe a sweetener 2nd round DP in 2018? But that's a lot to give up. Plus I think NYI is looking for more wing depth than centre.

Draisaitl 8 years for 6,3 mil.? It will take at least about 2 mil. more per year!
Deals are in EDM favour...

I seen a guy post on here today the RNH trade and your right. I just figured what if they lose on Tavares re signing? They then have RNH very young and skilled 200 foot player

Also don't need to give Vegas a first round imo. I'm sure the organization would rather sit on Pouliot's contract than give up their 1st round DP for nothing but cap space. The Eberle deal is very interesting though.

Drai will not make 8.3 million a year that's foolish I guarantee he signs o 6.5-7 mill range but that's it.

Oh!! Didn't think of that. Ya if they lose JT than I could see a deal like that going down!!

Dylan is very right. Been reported too that both Drai and McD are taking home town discounts. Anywhere from 6.3-6.8 is what's being said for Drai. But might only be a 5 year deal.

As the NYI fan who suggested...RNH would be the perfect 2C on this team. This is not a trade in anticipation of JT leaving. I think this trade makes sense because De Haan is a prime target for VGK should the Isles leave him unprotected. Also, RNH is superior to Nelson. Cap consequences would remain close for both sides. Those are my thoughts to the deal.

It's a pretty good deal I'd say. You think the De Haan signing is fair? To much? To little?

That's fair on all parts, I just don't think you need to include someone like Brock Nelson. Maybe a pick or two would get it done imo. cheers
