Idk why Barbashev has so much value on here. Hes not better than Kerfoot or Engvall lol, why would the Leafs give up Sandin + a comparable player for him?

How is he better lol? Hes not better than either defensively and has hardly outscored Kerfoot this year. Kerfoot and Engvall dont spend time with the big 4 either so you can even pull the "he plays with better players" argument.

Most of those assets don't have value to the Jackets, and we're not all that motivated to trade Peeke in the first place. It's a fair try, but it's not what we'd look for.
