Higher ppg in the AHL than both Bordeleau and Eklund!

1 year older than Bordeleau and 2 years older than Eklund!

no doubt but thats to be expected. His first year in the AHL he was producing at close to a ppg then he spent an entire season in the NHL (getting jerked around) then the next year he gets sent down. first handful of games you could see he was frustrated but now you can see he's fully embracing it and his play is reflecting it. Hershey is a deep team. if you watch him play their youd see his game is where is needs to be. honestly he should be in the NHL... Watching him play i had him and Cozens as equals ( Cozen being more offensive / slightly better). If you recall WJC McM actually beat Cozen out for the center position bc his 2 way game was better

yeah I think he’ll be a decent middle 6 center one day, but if that and a late 1st is the centerpiece of a trade for Meier, I don’t think that’s great

i think hes going to be a soild 50-60 point center. Capitals always draft well and he was considered a steal at the time. Timo is a top 50 player. imo there is 1 team that is able to offer him what you guys want + have 10m in cap to extend him and thats NJD. thats being said Holtz is more than likely the guy coming back. Idk if the gap between him and McM is that vast. Obviously i would say Holtz is better but the gap isnt nearly as big that you would consider him + 1st WAY more than McM + 1st

As I said in another thread a mid 23 1st, a top prospect, and a decent roster player is very much what you should expect for Meier. Only player to get significantly more than that in the past 10 years is Tkachuk, who is an MVP candidate. 23 1st + Nemec + Sharangovich isn't happening. Power isn't happening. Could this be beaten out by other offers? Sure. Would I be shocked if this, or 23 1st + Mukhmadullin + Tatar, or 23 1st + Lysell + Smith, or 23 1st + Neimela + Kerfoot was the final package? Absolutely not

Cool ... Agian a forward thats QO is 10m? look at his comparables

Marner 10.9m 97p last year on pace for 94p this year
Tkachuk 9.5m 104p last year on pace for 110 this year
Kaprizov 9m 108p last year on pace for 101 this year

Point my be the closet comparable to him but Point is a lot better...

Sharks prospect pool is #17 and they have been trash .... 8 spots ahead of a team that buys and competes every year. Eklund is good. Gushchin doesnt look like anything special. i would gladly take Suzdalev over him. McM atm is better (2019 draft year instead of 2020) but McM in the AHL at his age had 27p in 33gp. Gushchin is like a .5ppg player. Havelid has 3p in 13gp in the SHL. weird to claim you would rather have such a unproven / underwhelming player over a much more proven talent but again idk if you actually understand prospects or if you are just regurgitating what you see on the internet. Laroque is putting up good numbers in the WHL but id still say Chelsey is a WAY WAY better prospect. Bordeleau imo is your 2nd best prospect but again still not better than McM.. weird you had him 2nd to last on your list. Bystedt is very promising AGIAN weird you had him after Havelid bc hes a much better player. But i would say Eklund McM/Bystedt then Bordeleau. actually i would put Bordeleau in the mix. imo Miroshnichenko is better than Eklund but again if i was you i would do more research before just guessing

It wasn't in order. Just listing guys I'd keep over him. All in all I don't care because a trade would never happen with Washington because they have bad prospects and you'll need to keep the ones you do have.
They'll get much more elsewhere
