This is a weird argument, because when Nashville is performing, Saros is a vezina candidate. Toronto is the better team this year and Nashville is underperforming. Not Saros’ fault.

No way any serious Leaf fan would think Saros is that much better than the Leafs give up so much to obtain him. Look at the stats. Look at expensive Dmen the Preds have that so many Leaf fans just covert so much. Leafs have gone the season with Muzzin. without Reilly and Brodie, and for shorter periods of time Sandin.

The problem is Leafs fans see their team often, and see their players mistakes, but don't see the Preds (in this case) much, so their goalie must be mistake free.

The thing about Saros is that he is mostly mistake free. He’s the only reason the Preds are remotely good. Our D has been abysmal this year in terms of protecting Saros, so he doesn’t have that going for him either.

The Preds usually need a stellar game out of Saros if we want to win, and he generally provides those
