He did still better than Hughes .8 ppg and he gets even better in the playoffs

Nobody is arguing that 18 and 19 year old jack hughes was better than prime brayden point (who didnt reach the NHL until his age 20 season). but currently jack hughes has averaged 1.22 ppg over his last 2 seasons, despite playing with significantly less help on his wing than point. Point has never had a 2 season stretch as productive as hughes rn, and even his 2 best seasons of 18-19 and 22-23 are only at 1.13 ppg. (worse than hughes)

he also uses career stats because hughes the last 2 years is better than any 2 seasons of points career. so he has to use jack hughes stats when he was a teenager to weigh him down
