He missed a bunch of time to start the season. Similar offensive production. Way better at everything else.

Oh I agree, but I used the NHL’s rule of having at least one all star per team. Purely based on merit, I would’ve put JT

Marchand 0.33 Goals per game
Nylander 1.16 points per game
Marchand 1.10 Points per game

Nylander has 12 more goals in 9 more games, but Marchand has 23 powerplay points and Nylander has 19. Willy been way better 5v5

Nylander obviously belongs more than Marchand

No, he’s produced more offense at 5 on 5. He hasn’t been better. There’s a reason the bruins are running over the league.

The reason is that they have the best team... Not because of Marchand
Also, nobody votes people into the All-Star game based on Defensive play/merit...

Stats don’t necessarily lie, but sometimes they tell a very very small portion of the story, and can be manipulated to mislead.

I would, but he’s done for the year, same reason I have Matthews on IR and not on the roster. With Caufield, I just didn’t bother lol 😂
