Not even close to enough for Pettersson, especially to a division rival. Start with Clarke + Byfield + 1st

You’re on glue if you think that gets Pettersson. For LA to get him ( being a division rival) it takes byfield, Clarke, one of kaliyev or turcotte, a ‘23 1st and probably a 24 1st.

Canucks fans need to realize their franchise is in shambles. The management team from ownership down to the GM is disgusting. The treatment of Boudreau and the brutal management of contracts is despicable. It needs to be torn down. They have some great players, but no one is gonna want to play there with the **** show that's going on.

That being said, Pettersson will cost more than this, but players are gonna want out until a full ownership / management change is made.

The players saw exactly how the organization treated their coach, the "players' coach" that, at least publicly, they would "run through a brick wall" for. It's getting ugly.

yup, it's not gonna be pretty. Fans need to realize. Best thing is to sell the team and get new ownership in. Fire the GM and President. Clean sweep. Feel bad for the nicest coach in hockey.

Gross under pay for Petey. He's the most valued asset on our roster, it's not even close either. If Petey were to be moved(IE say next season we know we're not resigning him as he doesn't want to stay) he's easily a 4 firsts value player. He just keeps getting better and better, as the team gets worse and worse. If and when Horvat is moved, he's the next captain if he stays .

This is an Eichel-level return….Pettersson is healthy so by necessity gets a higher return, as both are point/game players. Realistically, it is (1) Clarke or Byfield, (2) Turcotte or Kaliev or Vilardi, (3) 2023 first rounder, and (4) 2024 second that bumps to a first with Conf. final berth. Is this completely full value? No, of course not, but you never get full value in a trade when you are shipping out the best player. * If he was signed an extra couple of years the package would have been a little higher too
