The blue line is of course better but the forward group is quite a bit worse here. Don’t see the Canucks getting many more wins out of this a quad than the current one.

I'd honestly rather Miller than McCann

The Canucks are losing games because of how atrocious their defensive system is, not because of how many goals the are putting in the net. Myers and OEL are good for 3 goals against per game, Burroughs is trash and Garland does nothing except get rag dolled. Miller is the laziest mf I've ever seen and Pearson is injured. This team is a 90-100 point team whereas the current roster is a 60-70 point disaster.

IDK how you were getting Schneider here. it's not like SJ had their 1st rounder in 2020. And he was never the one being traded for Miller in that rumor.

If you read the bio then you would know that I mentioned that one trade did not lead to the other. But imagine if the Canucks had a guy like Schneider, a young RHD to play alongside Hughes. It’s just a theoretical but Schneider is the perfect partner for Hughes.

I have to disagree on that. While Schneider is a good young two way defenseman, i think hughes would be best off with a full stay at home defenseman. Like Fox has Lindgren, Makar has Toews, etc. Hughes needs someone he knows will cover his risk on the back end when he jumps up. Schneider is alright but far from the best option considering he also occasionally jumps up
