Definitely not seeing Manson as a "take on contract" type from the Avs.

.907 SV% gets you top 10 status now? Not saying he doesn't have room to grow but pump the brakes a little bit, Seattle shouldn't be giving up that much value for a guy that's a marginal upgrade in goal for them.

Hart started over Jones last year. Grubauer is bad.

His SV% and GAA Is kinda meh because the flyers arent very good. Hart is 9th or 10th For me.

He's Top 10 in Goalie War and he's the only goalie apart of a bad team on that list. And when you have someone that young part of what your paying for is the potential.

Not saying he's not an upgrade for the Kraken, just that them giving up that many assets for a guy that's middle of the pack right now. He might turn into something better, but giving up that kind of value for a guy that's had half a good season after two years in the wilderness is a big risk.

The other problem from Seattle's end is getting another goalie with term, either at this year's deadline or this summer, gives them 3 goalies under contract next year. Grubauer's contract is going to cost assets to move, and it's likely that Chris Driedger's $3.5M hit is going to be tough to move without much, if any, game tape from this season to show off. So not only are they paying assets to bring in a Carter Hart, they're going to have to pay to move one of those other significant cap hits off their roster (or at least eat the buyout cost.) I don't think Carter Hart is at the level of "make yourself dump other contracts" of talent, but ymmv.

I don't think Seattle is really the right team either. But Speaking on Value side I don't see why he shouldnt be able to get something of that degree. Given his potential and pedigree.

He wont be traded either way, especially becausee of the Hockey Canada Situation

That's a no from the Avs, they won't be trading Manson or any roster players in this type of move so without more retention it won't work.
