No idea what Pionk's trade value is but he's having an off year and they've been rumoured to be interested in moving a defense man for more offense. Boeser has been disappointing but still is putting up points at a good rate (.75 points per game compared to .78 career) at 5v5 in n particular and this is while playing over 2 minutes less per game, losing his PP1 spot and top 6 spot in general. Add in a decent Prospect and a high 2nd seems fair considering Boeser's additional salary and disappointing play.

Garland trade is similar to Bjorkstrand trade but 2nd instead of 4th as Garland's cap is less, contract is shorter and that was a crazy low return in the first place.
