Help would be getting a goalie

Take Schenn, but we don't need Garland. Take Olofsson and Garland out and the 2025 pick.

Garland is a better fit for the future of this team. Much better 5v5 than Olofsson.

Not with who the Sabres have coming up through there system.

Why isn't a good fit? Garland isn't a player that needs to be on the PP. Our young guys could definitely use a vet on their line that is good 5v5. Would fit well with Krebs.

I like Garland, actually wanted the Sabres to go after him a couple seasons ago. But with the Forward prospects coming up and his almost 5m Cap hit for 3 more years isn't really needed.

Adams doesn't like rushing guys. I'm not expecting anyone to be up next year. Quinn & Peterka were full timers at 21. Rosen is 19, Savoie is 19, Kulich is 18, Ostlund is 18. Those guys are probably a few years away from being full timers. At that time Garland's deal will be expiring.

Could be right, but I expect Kulich to make the jump. He already played 2yrs of Men's Hockey overseas. And Savoie is tricky, he either stays in Buffalo or goes back to Juniors, which probably doesn't help him. And those aren't the only one's that could get a look.
