Brown is pretty much a plague at full price and a cold when halved so you'll need your 1st just to unload him.

No revision needed. Brown's contract sucks I don't care how anyone spins it. Don't care about the leadership or cups. Doesn't matter. At the end of the day it's a terrible contract on a player past his prime. No thanks from every other team in the league.

So various reporters are talking about LA interested in acquiring Kane and Buffalo willing to move Kane.... that probably means no way a deal actually is made for Kane.

I would propose the following:

Kane, Fasching & Buffalo's 4th Round pick in 2017 (Buffalo retains $1,500,000)

for

Martinez/Muzzin, Brown, Kempe & LA 1st Round pick in 2017

It would be martinez,brown,kempe and first

Kane's trade value is low, he has very serious off ice issues and is a locker room cancer. Hard to imagine him being traded for more than a 3rd round pick.
