all signs point to Pasta returning, some reports have his deal getting done as soon as the end of this week. But if he does indeed walk I could see him joining the devils- likely have to pay more for him tho.

14 million is probably a little too much, 7 x $12,500,000 might be closer to reality.

Had him at 11m originally. Just want to show that more is easily possible, and not a huge issue long term with Mercer the only major contract that would be coming up for a couple offseasons

Probably has Gaudreau as floor, Huberdeau as expected, Panarin has high. So $9.8m to $11.6m, with more likely range around $10.2 million to $10.8 million.

I agree with you. 14m is mostly as a show of cap more than anything.

Friedman states that there is mutual interest and stated that he likely does not reach the UFA market even if the deal is done last second. Pastrnak is going to be a bruin almost 100% its mainly a matter of when.
