Troubs younger than McD. Nashville is old on D. Retention is just to make overall money more even. Trochek is a Nashville Style player, and Duchene could play in middle or wing for NYR. Kravstov former top 10, needs fresh start, high ceiling. Jeannot gives Rangers more toughness and checking on 3rd line. Last year for him was probably an abberation.

Never say never. C is overrated TBH. Let's say we do, since the team clearly needs a shakeup. McD, a former NYR captain is the logical fit to get it back.

First off Drury just named Trouba Captain, Therefore he's not being traded. Trocheck nor Trouba would waive for Nashville so not happening.

Ryan McDonagh chose for a reason Nashville due to no States tax like Florida, So he's not waiving to New York State that has the 2nd highest taxes after California. So McDonagh isn't waiving either.

Certainly plausible

You ignored what HockeyIsMYPassion61 said about McDonagh. He doesn't want to take less money, there's no reason to think that he waives even if Trouba does.

Plus, why would NYR want the older guy? It's not like he's a top 10 defender in the league.

Certainly plausible

Trouba's wife is doing her residency until 2024 that's when his NMC becomes a Mod-NTC so he's not going anywhere for the next 2 years at least.

And Nashville is a royal joke, They definitely need a retool so no Trouba and Trocheck aren't waiving to go there anytime soon.
