I prefer Draisaitl over Marner
I prefer PP over Kerfoot but he is a pending RFA and hasn't shown he is worth more than 3m right now and the Leafs would need that cap space moving forward in another piece. So I would stick with Kerfoot for now.

Overall I think neither team makes the trade. Draisaitl is amazing but I severely dislike the Nurse contract.

both teams upgrade a spot and downgrade a spot, leafs get a better forward yes but also lose their best D man, oilers loose dri.. but get an elite play maker and puck moving D man, idk its close but i think both sides decline

this is my take. the value is pretty much even but this is such a high-profile trade that if *any* of these dudes underperform it is going down as a huge black mark on your GM record. Ken Holland *might* have the gravitas to weather a storm like that but Kyle Dubas 100% does not.

I'd be happy with Dubas not taking a gamble like this. Obviously Drai is an incredible player to add, but there is a lot of risk in this trade as a whole.
