Devils accept, but given that nobody claimed Johnsson on waivers I doubt there's significant interest.

No reason for Winnipeg to do either. Johnsson and Kapanen don't really give the Jets anything they need. Especially when Winnipeg is adding to the better player in the Kapanen trade for some reason and Johnsson is pretty much waiver fodder.

To be fair here, AJ was trash last season, and he actually is putting up good numbers in the AHL now. So a team willing to take a flyer that has cap room but wants to put in a minimal cost to improve, he's an option.

Both would be smart buy-low bids for some scoring. Would prefer Johnsson to Kapanen due to an expiring contract, but I like the idea.

He actually was one of their better forwards. 4th on the team GF% (minimum 20 games), 3rd in GF/60 (minimum 20) and 3rd in xGF/60. Johnsson was also 4th for forwards in EV assists and 7th on the team for EV goals while only playing 14 minutes.
