I’m confused, why seer flipping Jost? I like getting rid of Engvall but Dubas brought him back for whatever reason and I don’t see him trading him.

Yeah Sheary gets a 2nd easily maybe more depending on the needs at the deadline. Not a mid level prospect and a 4th. Jarnkrok Is a great comparable

Lol literally just described sheary. Ironically you traded for the one dimensional Sheary but again I assume your comment is just to diminish Sheary value bc you are actually clueless

All those are too weighted in TOR favor.

Jost is worth more than Engvall, let alone they add a 3rd for a 6th. If it was Engvall and 2023 OTT 3rd for Jost and TOR 6th, maybe its closer.

The you trade a Jost (an EXPIRING underachieving 2mil+ RFA, midlevel Abramov (who is probably worthless at TDL if he hasnt "arrived" by that point), a 2nd and 5th TWO drafts away for Domi and a 3rd? I just think that other than the 2nd theres not much there for CHI, and they'll get far better offers elsewhere (probably a 2023 2nd and 4th or better)

And then Sheary for SDA (who literally is another prospect who is probably done by that point after almost 2 seasons of mediocre AHL play) and a 4th TWO drafts away?

Its just really unequal value offered by the BUYER, for guys who will be in DEMAND near the TDL. Too many Leaf fans think that either they have the leverage to under offer OR the other team should be doing them a favour OR they're the smart guy in a room full of dummies.

Some nice targets (albeit ignoring defense and goaltending), but really sabotaged by the really weak offers.

Do you even watch the Leafs? Theyre defence and goaltending hasnt even been an issue this year lol. I swear people on here are stuck in 2019 for some reason. You realize Ron Hainsey and Connor Carrick arent our top 4 d anymore right?
