You don't give a 3&4 for a guy your taking a "flyer" on.
Especially with TBs track record on 3rd and 4th round picks. Point, Cirelli , Colton Killorn etc.

and that is ridiculous for Frost. Mid-round picks are basically high round picks for Tampa and he probably wouldn't even make the lineup

The next thing is you preferred Fleury over Perbix, not just that but the Sergachev-Perbix pairing it's one of the most underrating pairings in the NHL mostly due to Sergy outperforming hedmen (like how) when everybody with saying he was overrated and Perbix because he's a random generated rookie that people would forget about

The next thing is Morgan Frost, he's solid but he's as productive as Rūdolfs Balcers this season with the difference being +/-, we're not overpaying for Morgan Frost, we have ABB and some other players from the pool that we could play

The next things the easiest thing, the contract. Now give credit where credit is due, I do think Derek Grant is a good signing for the lightning, same with Cal Foote, and Ross Colton could get two extra years on his contract. Other than that, I see Myers would get traded or waived and Brian Elliott just straight up retiring.
