The guy misses 25 games a year (over the last 3 years)...isn't as good Defensively in his own end...and adds $3.5M to an already tightening Cap than Trouba does.

He's actually good at hockey. Trouba would do more for the team if he spent 25 games on LTIR for the next 3 seasons.

These trades make the Rangers MUCH worse in the short term and long term. I wouldn't trade Trouba straight up for injury prone EK or Lindgren straight up for Zadorov.

And as much as I loved Motte, why are we giving away Kravtsov AND a 3rd for him now, after we initially got him for just a 4th?

It's an overpay for sure. I'm not so much interested in lining up the exact amount in trade value on these posts because people will argue back and forth about the margins. My approach is to over pay as much as I'd be willing to lose for what I want. Rather overpay on here than underpay. A 3rd is enough? Cool, we'll keep Kravstov.

That package is an overpay for ek65 that's could easily get chychrun. Dont need another trash dman just because he has a long reach and probably watch a lot more hockey than you

Chychrun will never be the player EK is even at his age with one leg. Chychrun has never played a full season. If you don't think Lindy is worse than Z then you're looking through rose colored glasses. Idk man, maybe watch more closely.
