Easy no for Winnipeg. Contrary to most Montreal fan's fantasies, their cap dumps will cost them assets to unload. No one is giving them 3 better players and taking back two cap dumps.

Lmao, if Edmundson is a cap dump then Dillon is an even bigger one, Appleton too.

I won't say anything about Hoffman because I found him a cap dump but if you think that Edmundson is a cap dump, you are totally in the wrong world.

He's a good veterans with alot of experience, leadership, good defensive presence and use is physique well. He don't have an enormous contract that hurt the team contrary to other. That the second season he miss game because of is back injury that could be a future problem but right now that not disturbing.

Guy loves trolling the Habs, thinks the Jets walk on water.

The cost to offload Hoffmans cap is probably at least a 2nd. Hoffman does not belong in a teams starting 12 roster so that's 4.5 mil of dead cap space. Dillon is worth more than Edmundson cause Edmundson is always injured. A team would have to be desperate for defensemen in order to trade for him, and trading a comparable player without injury concerns wouldn't be something a team would do. I don't know much about Ylonen but a 23 yr old .5 point per game AHL player doesn't seem like a prospect with much value at all.

This trade would mean Winnipeg would lose depth on forward which they already don't have enough of and trade a healthy defenseman for an injured one. All in order to upgrade a 5th round pick to a 4th? Winnipeg easily says no.
