I like the Hornqvist trade. If we have some cap space left over, why not use it and get some assets?

agreed! I may have given too much from the Florida perspective. But I can see something on these lines working for both teams. Hornqvist would be a good top 9 for Ottawa, he is just not worth his full cap. When they are fully healthy, a move like this makes sense for both teams.

This is Hornqvist last year of his deal so if I was Ottawa, I would do without hesitation.
