I feel you, I think my team (Calgary) is in a very similar boat. I'm doubtful of any of Meloche, Valimaki, or Mackey passing through waivers. All are clearly earning their extra time at camp with the main roster. Im partly hoping the Flames sell high on Kylington right now to add a middle 6 forward in exchange

Haven’t followed Calgary a lot but they didn’t sign any horrid contracts, did they? Hextall extended Carter, signed Rutta, and gave kapanen a 3.2M contract

Carter and kapanen are 1m too much but both can be serviceable players.

the other bad contract imo is Mcginn.

personally I would have your same top 6 , Carter with Heino and kappy , and 4th line of Poulin blueger and big Z but too late for that.
