I agree and a top 15 protected pick mens Detroit pretty much has to make the playoffs for them to get that pick.

There is a reason Detroit hasn't been mentioned as a landing spot Chychrun in quite a while. Where they are in their rebuild they can't afford to give up what it would cost to get him.

Regardless of the pieces going one way or the other being fair; a major contributing factor to the value Chychrun has is his $4.6m salary, so retaining $2m for the duration of his contract kind of kills that valuable component to the attractiveness of acquiring him.
