Agreed on Gudas, He's the piece of **** that gave Franzen the career ending concussion. I want no part of him.

- I love the way Gudas plays...better playing WITH him as opposed to playing AGAINST him!
- Bert is a tough call. I'd say the length of the contract is fine because of the way he plays. But because of the way he plays, I'd give him $7,000,000.

Gudas is one of a small handful of players that epitomize what's wrong with the game - he's not "hardnosed", he's a ****ing scumbag who tries to hurt people. I would throw up seeing him in the Winged Wheel and could never root for him.

Bert will sign for at LEAST 6 years, probably 7, possibly 8... he's not taking 5. I agree with the AAV though, I think 7m is spot on. I'm not saying I WANT a longer term, just that's what I expect him to demand, if not here, somewhere else.
