Giroux is at what 8.25M? How is MTL gonna get him, and resign guys like Radu? Someone like Pleky would have to be going back in such a deal, otherwise it would never work out

Giroux won't be traded

I really like Claude Giroux. I think he's one of the best 2-way centermen in the league. Having said that, you don't tie up 8.25M in cap space to that kind of center. You tie up 8+M$ in guys like Malkin, Crosby, Toews, Kane... Not Giroux.

Winning cup teams have two things going for them: they have solid deep rosters, and they have no bad contracts on there team.

Giroux is overpaid by atleast 1.5M for what he does.

Same with RNH. A guy getting 6M$ to be a 3C? We have one of them... Don't need another...
