Interesting list. Some of these players it's a little too soon to tell. Zub I think is pretty appropriately rated, at least by the Sens' fanbase, Lafreniere and Kakko moreso just haven't lived up to their draft position (yet), Heinola hasn't even played 30 NHL games and is still considered a higher grade prospect, same with Byfield only playing 46 games and others on this list. Knight I think is underrated but because he's also quite young there are probably other goalies that could go on here. There are a couple players that I see where you're coming from like Strome and Hintz, because they played with some other high level players that other people might think they wouldn't be as good by themselves.

Totally agree with this. A lot of these players are just too soon to tell. Kakko is certainly not "underrated" right now (key words right now). And Miller, while great, gets so much hype for Norris finalists (started last year - maybe it is because I am surrounded by Rangers fans) so I wouldn't call that underrated. But overall, I see your point. Just strongly disagree with Kakko being underrated. And Ryan Strome to that point...

Kaapo Kakko hasn't done much of anything yet, maybe his talent is underrated but his production surely isn't

credit where credit's due, there are also -4- Islanders on this list (and two Devils!) so they're at least a fair-minded Rangers fan

He’s a third line checker that’s solid defensively. Nothing more. I don’t think he’s underrated by any stretch of the imagination….unless you’re a rangers fan trying to feel better about a 2OA pick

There’s four islanders guys that are genuinely underrated (maybe except Dobson). Probably four rangers that really aren’t. I could see Miller being underrated though

As a Sens fan, Zub is overrated by us lol. But he is definitely underrated by everyone else in the league.

I do think Mika gets forgotten when people talk about great forwards, and Miller is definitely worthy of the underrated title. And if I tilt my head the right way, I can see why a Rangers fan would think that the CF/ACGM boards underrate Laf & Kakko - but that might be a little too generous of a reading on this lol
