Description

The E-Rod signing is an interesting one. I see a training camp/pre-season battle for 2C between Compher, Newhook, and E-Rod, with wild-cards like Meyers and even Sedlak making a push. Not a bad place to be in, as the competition might make for a breakout season for whoever lands the coveted 2C spot.

Personally, if JT is given the opportunity at 2C, he could produce 25 goals and 30+ apples. Newhook is a stud and a very hard worker - he might be the future 2C but not quite ready. I think it comes down to who gels best with Lehky and Moose.

The bottom six and the entire D are strong, with plenty of opportunities. The trade deadline will be interesting to say the least.

i think it'll be mack between lehky and rants and landy and nichuskin with whoever is going to be 2C. I honestly think compher is 3wing as well. newhook and e-rod will be down the center i think. but like you said there are lots of options and its a really good place to be in. I'm sure everyone will get a shot at some point

I really hadn't thought of moving Landy off of the Mack line, but that actually makes perfect sense since Lehky likes going to the tough "knock around" spots, though he's not got the size like Landy he's still great in front of the net.

I could see Cogliano, Meyers, O'Connor and even Sadlak moving between the 3rd and 4th lines, however, I really like the line of Compher, Newhook and O'Conner. I believe they've already built some chemistry and will continue to do so.
