Line Breakdowns

Connor-Dubois-Perfetti: Line had great chemistry in limited time last year. Bet everything on perfetti for calder. Not much to say about this line it's almost perfect. Jets fans kinda hate dubois now, but don't forget how nasty he was last year.

Ehlers-Scheifele-Appleton: Schiefele and ehlers had great chemistry, they should be the go to connection now. Appleton is there to see if he has some offensive upside and to give some defensive stability on the line. His placement is mostly to seperate wheeler from schiefele.

Barron-Rodrigues-Wheeler: finally we get a third line with offensive upside. If rodrigues can have a similar season playing with wheeler then he could be a perfect 3rd line center to push lowry down. Barron looked pretty good last year, he's probably not Copp but he can be a semidecent replacement. Perfect situation for rodrigues cause he doesn't have to worry about being on the 4th line and he has the chance to move up to the 2nd line RW.

Harkins-Lowry-Gagner: Lowry still gets decent minutes, but doesn't have to try and force some offensive in a 3rd line role. Gagner and Harkins are good defensively with scoring upside. Jets finally have a reliable shutdown 4th line.

not much difference with the d pairs. Heinola needs to be in the lineup and playing him with demelo will help him thrive.
