Starting off with the recent lottery players(Laf, Kakko, Kravstov), they all are apart of something special being built. Let’s say Laf and Kakko figure it out this year and have their best season each. It’s bound to happen in my opinion. That top 6 will be absolutely dominating. And Kravstov finally gets his chance and maybe he does decent? And then there’s Chytil who looked fantastic in the Rangers run to the conference finals. He can definitely build off that and have a break out season. Then moving on to the young defencemen there’s Braden Schneider obviously. Terrific young RHD that can take a step even though he’s playing the top 6. He’s a guy I’d still count on to have great numbers this season. And then Zac Jones who I’d imagine gets the spot with Schneider, he seems to never be talked about and I feel like he can become sneaky good. And onto K’Andre Miller who seems to be getting better and better and oh man that speed. He only seems to get better and I don’t know if there’s anything else to say. Fox and Lindgren need no explanation. But these young skaters have great potential together and can be the Rangers rise or downfall this season but I think they will definitely be rising.
The top 6 looks great overall and can be lethal offensively. The bottom 6 looks steady and can be hard to play against.
Defence looks great all round and one of the best in the league when it comes to playing on both ends of the ice.
Goaltending? Igor. That’s it. Igor. Just Igor.
All the moves these past seasons have paid off and they are climbing the ladders when it comes to getting back to the finals.
But to say the least there’s still some things that may not come together but all it takes is either Laf or Kakko to get it going.
