The Dubois offer seems really underwhelming, he actually is a very good player.
A comparable offer the other way would be like:
Jets get: Suzuki
Habs get: Toninato, 1rd, 2rd

Okay, difference of opinion, I don't think Dubois has reached his ceiling at all. Just look at your own exemple, Fiala had his first major season(point wise) at age 26, Dubois is 24.
And if I'm not mistaken, Wild had the disadvantage of having cap space issues, which isn't an issue for the Jets atm, and even still got a return with way more potential than the Jets in this trade.
The Habs offer essentially the three draft picks. So no, I don't think the Fiala trade is a great comparable.
And since the Jets aren't in full rebuild mode, I don't think this is what they want for Dubois.
